So, how do you overcome the challenges of your limiting beliefs? First, ask yourself whether any of the limiting beliefs are actually true. For example if you believe that “bad things always happen”, ask yourself whether that really is a true statement. If you find some truths to this statement, you can then begin to address your belief system and change your mindset. Start by replacing any negative statements with an affirmation about what you would like to achieve. Then as you read over these affirmations every day, take it a step further by truly believing them and acting as if they are already true. Always remember that achieving your goals is a very personal thing and there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach. Simple ways you can practice self-care is by taking a warm bath to rewind for the day, enjoying a cup of warm tea at sunrise, or going for an outdoor walk while listening to a podcast. Try your best to dedicate at least one hour each day despite how busy life may take you to focus on yourself and do something that you love only for you and no one else.
Relax Your Mind and Meditate
If all else fails and you’re still having a tough time figuring out what you want, take a moment to meditate. There is no right or wrong way to mediate so don’t worry if you don’t know what you’re doing. The goal is to have both your mind and body become grounded and relaxed with the present moment.

If I’m not listening to music, I like to focus on the sound of my breath and take mindful deep breaths following the box method which is 4 seconds in, 4 seconds hold, 4 seconds out, and 4 second hold. Keep repeating this until you quiet your mind and feel relaxed. I have found meditation to be effective whether I do it for 10 minutes or even just 1 minute. There are no set rules just experiment with what helps you to relax your mind and bring yourself back to the present moment.
Visualize Your Dream Reality
Pause for 5 minutes, close your eyes, and imagine your dreams happening in your life. Get specific on what you want to feel, see, and hear. The best part about this exercise is that your brain can’t tell what is real and what is fake. Manifestation is all about vibrating on the same frequency as your desire. The more you practice how to vibrate higher, the easier it will become to manifest your desires.
Affirm Positive Thoughts
Whether it’s as simple as “today is a great day” or “I am radiating gratitude to myself and others” these affirmations will reprogram your subconscious and transform your reality.
